I run a Vintage Crockery Hire company based in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, catering mainly for weddings, parties, and christenings. The Vintage crockery brings a unique twist to an event for couples looking to add something a little different to their day.

Our Exquisite range of vintage crockery is available for hire, perfect for any special occasion, from weddings, afternoon tea parties, anniversary parties, christenings to corporate events.

The eclectic collection of delightful teapots, indulgent cake stands, and pretty tea cups brings a touch of vintage charm and effortless style to your event.

Press Release

The Vintage Crockery Cupboard was founded by me, Anwen Pegrum in the spring of 2011. Having spent the last decade in the fast paced world as designer and brand consultant, it was time to slow down a little by moving out to the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan with my young family. We found this fantastic Grade II listed, 15th century longhouse in LLantiwt Major, and are now tirelessly renovating it, bringing it back to it's former glory.

I started collecting all things vintage to dress the house and soon caught the bug, becoming an avid hoarder of vintage crockery and accessories. I had to justify my growing obsession with these exquisite tea cups and had the idea of sharing my wares by hiring them out and running a business out of it.

There is a continuing trend this season for the Vintage themed Wedding, with brides looking to add a unique twist to their special day. Vintage Crockery certainly gives a great centre piece to any celebration, especially when coupled with delicious cup cakes, dainty sandwiches, colourful macaroons and the traditional favourite tea time treat, scones and jam.

Hire prices start from as little as 50p for a side plate. With Teapots, cake stands, teacups and much, much more available for hire, we at the Vintage Crockery Cupboard can help you create the perfect memorable occasion.

Clients are welcome to visit us at Downcross House, to see the crockery and to chat about their plans for their special celebration, over a cup of tea of course!
