Late Availability

In a recent review of all our bookings in 2012, for weddings in 2013 and 2014, we found a number of craig y nos castle weddings that had booked their wedding in January and February, subsequently changed their minds about getting married (often the couples concerned split up). This means we sometimes get late availability and an empty date which we would like to sell to another wedding couple. If you are looking to make a substantial saving, we are considering nominating selected dates no more than 6 months ahead, and using the deposit of the cancelled wedding as a discount off a subsequent late availability wedding. Say for example Couple A book a wedding for June 2014, and then cancel in Jan 2014, having paid a £2,000 deposit, we would consider letting a second late booked wedding book in at a £2,000 discount. In some cases this might mean you do not pay for your wedding at all, you just need to get the 50 guests staying overnight. This is a win-win for us and for Brides looking to fill an empty date.
